At the Rev. George L. Fox Memorial Chapel, we are blessed to witness the strength and compassion of our community every day. This past month, we were especially moved by the generous support shown by two remarkable organizations: The American Legion Riders of New Hampshire, Unit 46, and The Valley of Portsmouth/Dover.
Their contributions have gone beyond financial support—they’ve reaffirmed our shared mission of honoring sacrifice, preserving faith, and serving those who have served.
A Legacy of Service
Named after one of the heroic “Four Chaplains” of WWII, The Rev. George L. Fox Memorial Chapel stands as a tribute to spiritual courage, unity, and selfless service. Our mission has always been to provide a sacred space for reflection, remembrance, and renewal—not just for veterans, but for the entire community.
It is in that spirit that we recognize The American Legion Riders of NH, Unit 46, whose tireless efforts to support veterans and local initiatives continue to inspire. Their generous donation helps us maintain the chapel as a living monument to those values.
Likewise, The Valley of Portsmouth/Dover has long been a respected and dedicated part of our region’s fraternal and charitable fabric. Their generosity reflects a deep commitment to community, heritage, and the ongoing work of remembrance.
More Than a Donation
These gifts are more than financial contributions—they are investments in the continued vitality of a sacred space that brings people together. Through these donations, we are able to enhance the chapel’s upkeep, support programming, and ensure the legacy of Rev. George L. Fox lives on for generations to come.
We are deeply honored and grateful.
A Heartfelt Thank You
To The American Legion Riders of NH, Unit 46, and to The Valley of Portsmouth/Dover:
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for believing in our mission. And thank you for helping us keep the flame of faith, service, and memory burning bright.
Together, we continue to honor the past—and build a future grounded in unity and compassion.
With deepest gratitude,
The Rev. George L. Fox Memorial Chapel
