  • The Flag Day Gilman VT celebration brings the community together to honor the American flag and reflect on its meaning. Hosted by the Rev. George L. Fox Memorial Chapel & Museum, this event highlights patriotism, history, and community spirit.

Join us on Sunday, June 14 at 10:00 AM at 52 Elm Street in Gilman, Vermont. The day begins with a traditional Sunday worship service inside the chapel. This service offers a time for reflection, prayer, and connection in a welcoming setting. It is a meaningful way to begin the day with others in the community.

After the service, attendees will move outside for a special flag and flagpole dedication ceremony. During this Flag Day Gilman VT event, a new American flag will be raised. At the same time, the new flagpole will be officially dedicated. Together, these moments highlight the values the flag represents, including unity, service, and pride. The outdoor setting adds to the significance of the ceremony and allows everyone to gather together.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to stay for a coffee hour. During this time, you can relax, enjoy conversation, and connect with others. In addition, it’s a great chance to meet new people and learn more about the chapel and its role in the community. Light refreshments will be available, creating a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
