To honor and preserve the legacy of Rev. George L. Fox, his wife Rev Isadore H. Fox, and

their two children Wyatt and Mary.  This quaint church where George ministered to

the community members of Gilman, until his heroic death on Feb. 3, 1943 when his

ship USAT Dorchester was sunk by a German U-boat.  The Chapel is being revived

as a non-denominational house of worship, historical Fox family museum, and future

military chaplains retreat.
