Honoring Vietnam Veterans & their Families on April 11th, 2026

We are delighted to announce that The Reverend George L. Fox Memorial Chapel & Museum will host a special event honoring Vietnam Veterans and their families on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel, located at 52 Elm Street in Gilman, Vermont.

This complimentary event is dedicated to recognizing the service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of those who served during the Vietnam War. Veterans and their families are invited to tour the Chapel and Museum, enjoy a light lunch, and gather in fellowship and remembrance.

Adding to the day’s celebration, live 1960s music will be performed by popular localband Retro, offering familiar songs from the era that connect many Vietnam Veterans to their time of service.

“Our goal is to create a meaningful opportunity for Vietnam Veterans to be recognized, remembered, and honored,” said organizers of the event. “This is a day of gratitude, reflection, and community.”

Admission is free, but attendees are asked to RSVP by April 7th by emailing glfox.memorialchapel@gmail.com.

Please note: Access to the Chapel requires climbing stairs. An ADA-accessible restroom is available; however, the building does not yet have elevator access.
